we have temperature issues in my building too. not quite as bad, but annoying. our office itself usually isn't too bad, but we have a little enclosed conference room with no windows of its own. apparently, when they set things up they gave it the same connection to the central air conditioning as the rest of the floor without its own controls or sensors. since it's tiny and enclosed though, the cold really builds up in there. the result is that it's usually in the 50's. it's sort of an inverse sauna. the only way to make it warmer would be to raise the temperature of the entire floor, which would make a lot of other people very unhappy.
