i'm still obsessed with maxwell's demon, or the concept of a machine that handles the overlap of information and communication chaos, in the crying of lot 49. something about this project attempting to aid synthesis with a machine interface reminds me of that. i am also thinking about the Sasson book that is one of the many i am part way through. In the introduction she identifies two tiers of information, the raw information (data, facts, stats) and the type of information developed by a locus of talent with some authority. I wonder what the effect of interfaces that attempt to imitate information exchange between humans would be?
