
painting of some pennsylvania tree roots. did it around december/january. for some reason, i've had a horrible time getting a photo of it. the camera seems to refuse to focus on it. at 600 pixels across, it's not too noticable, but even this one is kind of blurry.

Perhaps it's using light readings for its focus, and the deception of depth of the painting is throwing the calibration out of whack. What if you zoom out to get some blank canvas or wall behind the painting?
