the fantastic <a href="http://webdesign-l.com/" title="WD-L">webdesign-l</a> mailing list was started seven years ago today. just about everything i know about web technology today i either learned directly from that list or by researching things that i heard mentioned on the list.

formatting is with Textile syntax. Comments are not displayed until they are approved by a moderator. Moderators will not approve unless the comment contributes value to the discussion.
