thraxil's engine now supports the "nofollow":http://www.google.com/googleblog/2005/01/preventing-comment-spam.html anti comment spam technique. yeah, we haven't really gotten any comment spam on here yet, but i prefer to remain proactive. enjoy.

Cool...now when is the noidiots anti comment technique going to be implemented?
yeah, i'm still trying to think up a good way of making people pass a basic IQ test before they can post a comment. suggestions for something that will filter out the droolies would be welcome.
a filter that would prevent comments from being added by people coming from google (or any other search engine) would be a start...
you could have a trivia question above the submit button, and replace the button itself with three or four buttons corresponding to the answere choices. click the right answer, post a comment. click the wrong answer, go to goatse.
oooh...I like that one!
Click the wrong one, POP-UPS everywhere! Dirty animal sex pop-ups, and online casino pop-ups! You're doing them a favor, because that's what they were looking for on the web in the first place. That is why they type stupid, because they've got a donkey bent over their computer desk, and they're punching it in the back of the head - ha ha, Donkey Punch - and the donkey's head is hitting the keyboard, which is making the incoherent posts. Fuck'n donkies. The island of the lost boys must be open again.
Anders! Buy Cialis and Levitra and Viagra and get a discount on your Mortgage!!! purple monkey dishwasher!
