So what happens when it rains? Put a plastic bubble over it? What will that do to the speed? It is a funny image though, "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down"

I see it's biggest future in extreme sports. if they can make it lighter, just think of the moves one could pull. You could sell a ton in china, if there were any terrain friendly to these sorts of things, how is it off road?

I saw it on a british show, or may be CNN, it went through water and over rocks and up small curbs. I want a fully bodysuit of flowing solar cells so I can recharge the battery.

looks fun to play with but way too expensive and heavy to be very practical. i wonder what kind of safety testing has been done?

anyone see south park a couple weeks ago?

Hmm...I don't see how anyone would be able to stay on that thing...it needs an extension that fits inside a person's anus. hehe.

Although, my first question is: What happens when it runs out of energy? They need to make a crank style battery that can be used to recharge the vehicle if you get stuck somewhere. It's pretty neat though. I'm sure the purse snatchers will love it.

well, it does store kinetic energy from going downhill...so if you live in san francisco...

It's exactly what I need...I'm a supporter...but then I was sad to see kozmo.com go. See it being bigger at least at first in Japan or somewhere else where business men already ride bicycles in suits and aren't embarrassed by wearing medical masks in public.

The quotes of Kamen's vision remind me of a Heinlein short story (can't remember the title) where everyone travels on conveyor belts or personal transportation devices.

Still want a Vespa.
