Within Temptation -- kam and i found one of their cds in the stacks at WRBC. very similar to <i>velvet darkness</i> era TOT, female vocals and all. check out at all costs.
Opeth -- gothic death metal. occasional acoustic songs.
Tristania -- similar to Opeth but with more of a tendency towards heaviness.
Agathodaimon -- orchestral black metal.
