I can say this. I work in an NT shop and 75% of my tasks I complete from the command line. In fact in NT the only useful windowed tools that I commonly use are regmon and explorer. Explorer for complex file copies/directory copies and regmon to sniff out crap. That's it. Everything else is command line based.
