made it to shanghai. found an old friend to stay with (ding yan, if kamden is reading this — she saw you in nanjing in may by the way). need to make my way up to beijing in the next week or so, then classes begin. am currently going through a severe forgot-all-my-chinese smack in the face.

updates to follow.

goin'-goin', back-back to zhongguo-zhongguo

got my acceptance letter from Beijing University of Physical Education (Dept. of Wushu) today. looks like i’m headed back to the middle kingdom. in typical chinese fashion though, nowhere in any of the materials they’ve sent me or on their website do they mention a) when the semester begins, b) how to register for classes, or c) how to arrange for housing.

they’re not getting rid of me /that/ easily, though.
